Adobe Creative Cloud Price in 2026: What All Apps Now Costs
Creative Cloud Standard costs $54.99 a month and Creative Cloud Pro costs $69.99 a month for individuals in the US. Eligible students and teachers pay $19.99 a month for the first year, then $39.99. If you are searching for "All Apps", that plan no longer exists under that name.
Adobe split the old single All Apps tier in two and renamed the top one Creative Cloud Pro. Here is what each now costs and which one you actually need.
Adobe Creative Cloud price at a glance
| Plan | Per month | Per year | Who it is for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Creative Cloud Standard | $54.99 | $659.88 | The full app set, standard AI allowance |
| Creative Cloud Pro | $69.99 | $839.88 | Adds 4,000 monthly generative credits |
| Student and teacher (year 1) | $19.99 | $239.88 | Full Pro plan, verified education users |
| Student and teacher (after) | $39.99 | $479.88 | Rate once the first year ends |
The student rate is the standout number on this page. At $19.99 it is under a third of Pro, and it covers the same plan. But note the cliff: it doubles to $39.99 in year two, which catches a lot of people out.
Prices are Adobe's US individual rates in USD on annual plans billed monthly. Adobe pricing varies by country, billing interval and licence type.
What changed when All Apps became Pro
From 1 August 2025 Adobe retired the Creative Cloud All Apps name and split that single tier into two: Creative Cloud Standard at $54.99 and Creative Cloud Pro at $69.99.
The practical difference is generative AI capacity. Pro carries 4,000 monthly generative credits and full access to premium Firefly features; Standard gives you the same applications with a smaller AI allowance.
So the question is no longer "do I need all the apps" but "how much generative AI do I actually use". If you rarely touch Firefly, generative fill or generative expand, the $15 monthly gap is buying you capacity you will not consume.
Is Creative Cloud worth $69.99 a month?
Standard is enough
You need Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere and the rest, but generative AI is occasional. At $54.99 you save $180 a year over Pro for the same applications.
Pro earns its keep
Generative fill and Firefly are part of your daily workflow. 4,000 credits a month is a real allowance, and running out mid-project costs more than $15.
Check education first
If you or a household member is a verified student or teacher, $19.99 for the first year is the cheapest legitimate route to the full Pro plan by a wide margin.
At $839.88 a year, Pro is one of the most expensive creative subscriptions on the market. That is defensible if design is how you earn, and hard to justify if you open Photoshop twice a month — in which case a cheaper tool like Canva Pro covers far more than people expect.
Cheaper ways to get Creative Cloud
Check education eligibility. $19.99 against $69.99 is a saving of $600 in the first year. Verification is straightforward if you genuinely qualify.
Drop to Standard. If you are not consuming generative credits, Standard is the same apps for $180 less a year. Check your actual Firefly usage before renewing Pro.
Consider single-app plans. If you only ever open Photoshop, a single-app subscription costs a fraction of the full suite. Paying for twenty apps to use one is the most common Adobe overspend.
