Netflix Account Ban Wave (September 2026): An Open Letter to Netflix
On September 6, 2026, a fresh Netflix account ban wave hit resellers and customers across Pakistan and, this time, in much larger numbers than usual, India. Below is an open letter from the THEOTTDEALS team addressed directly to Netflix, asking one simple question: if these accounts are created and paid for through Netflix's own system, why are they banned afterward without a clear explanation?
Dear Netflix Team,
I am writing this message on September 7, 2026, with great disappointment and concern regarding the latest Netflix account ban wave that began on September 6, 2026.
Once again, a very large number of Netflix accounts created in Pakistan, as well as accounts created in bulk, have reportedly been suspended or banned. We have also seen a significant number of Indian accounts being affected this time. Although Indian accounts had previously been much less affected by these ban waves, many of them have now also been suspended.
This situation has caused serious financial losses for resellers in both Pakistan and India. Many resellers had invested their own money to purchase and maintain stocks of 100 or more accounts, expecting to sell them to their customers over time. Unfortunately, a large number of these accounts have now been banned, leaving these resellers with substantial financial losses.
The situation is particularly heartbreaking for smaller resellers and people who had only recently started working in this business. Some of them invested their savings into building their businesses, and after this ban wave, they have lost almost everything they had invested. For some, this has not simply been a temporary business loss — it has potentially ended their ability to continue in this field.
The one question that matters most
And this brings us to one very important question for Netflix: if these accounts are going to be banned or suspended later, why does Netflix allow them to be created and paid for in the first place?
We are paying for these accounts with our own money. These accounts are not being obtained through hacking or unauthorized access. We create and purchase them through Netflix's own system, and Netflix receives payment for them.
If there is something about the way these accounts are being created, purchased, or used that violates Netflix's policies, then we genuinely want to understand what it is.
- Is the issue related to the country or region from which the accounts are created?
- Is it related to bulk account creation?
- Is it related to payment methods?
- Is it related to account activity or usage patterns?
- Or is there another reason that Netflix has not publicly explained?
We are not asking Netflix to ignore its policies or security measures. We understand that Netflix has every right to protect its platform and enforce its terms.
What we are asking for is simply transparency
If Netflix has a specific reason for these mass account bans, please explain it clearly to us. You can contact us directly at theottdeals@gmail.com so that we can understand the actual reason and communicate the correct information to the resellers and customers affected by this situation.
And if Netflix does not wish to provide individual explanations to resellers, then we strongly request that Netflix issue an official public statement addressing these repeated ban waves.
The lack of communication is causing significant financial damage. People are investing their own money into Netflix services, only to find their accounts suspended afterward without a clear explanation of what went wrong.
We are not asking for special treatment. We are asking for a clear answer.
If you accept the payment, explain the ban
If Netflix accepts payment for an account and allows that account to be created successfully, what is the reason for later banning it? And if there are specific conditions that can result in an account being banned, why are those conditions not clearly communicated before customers invest their money?
A clear and official explanation from Netflix would allow resellers and customers to make informed decisions and could prevent many people from suffering further financial losses.
We sincerely hope Netflix will take this matter seriously and provide clarification regarding the account suspensions that began on September 6, 2026.
We look forward to your response.
Regards,
TheOttDeals Team
