What counts as a household
Netflix defines a household as the people who live together at the account's main location. Devices are associated with that household through the home network where the TV or main device is used.
Travelling is still allowed. You can watch on your own phone, tablet or laptop away from home, and signing in on a hotel TV is supported. The rule targets ongoing use by people who live somewhere else, not temporary use by the account holder.
When a device outside the household is used regularly, Netflix may ask for verification or prompt the account owner to add that person as an extra member.
