How Many Devices Can Stream Prime Video at Once?
Prime Video lets one account stream on up to three devices at the same time, and play the same title on up to two of them at once. That is fewer than Netflix Premium's four, but it covers most households without paying extra.
Here is how the limits work, how Prime Video compares, and how to clear the too-many-devices message.

Fixing the too-many-devices error
Stop a stream you are not using. A TV left paused in another room still counts. Close the app on devices that are not being watched.
Check the same-title rule. If three people try to watch the same film separately, the third is blocked even though the account allows three streams.
Sign out old devices. In account settings, deregister devices you no longer use so they cannot hold a stream.
If three streams is not enough
Download for travel. Offline viewing on a phone or tablet does not occupy a stream.
Add a second service. Netflix Premium allows four streams — compare them in Netflix vs Prime Video.
Use profiles properly. Prime Video profiles and parental controls keeps a busy household organised.
